The BCM® Stocks are a series of drop-in replacement stocks for the M4 Carbine, built to be lighter and more durable than the base equipment. Using a patented* internal latch system, the Stock features an ambidextrous QD interface port, a web sling attachment slot, a built-in buttpad and the VBOS (Vehicle Borne Operations Sling) Tab, for securing a sling while not worn on body. The stocks are available with either a minimalist (Mod 0) or more pronounced cheek weld (Mod 0 SOPMOD).
The patented internal latch adjustment system reinvents the stock interface, creating a precise engagement and fit with a Mil-Spec buffer tube. Specifically engineered to dissipate impact stress through the assembly, the precision fit latch is made from heat-treated ordinance grade steel and is flat on all sides to ensure the Stock interface with the receiver extension cannot be obstructed by dirt or debris. Its unique geometry also provides increased torsional strength and eliminates the stress-riser found on conventional rounded pins.
Should the end-user need to run with their sling off, such as in a vehicle, the stock includes a VBOST (Vehicle Borne Operations Sling Tab). This removable tab interfaces with the shooter’s riggers band or bungee to secure the shooter’s sling when S-folded against the stock when the carbine is not in use.
With both ambidextrous QD swivel ports and slots for conventional web sling attachment, the BCM® Stocks are built with versatility to support multiple tactical applications.
All BCM® products unite state of the art manufacturing with the lightest and most durable materials to ensure components that last a lifetime, performing far beyond performance requirements established nearly six decades ago. Like all BCM® rifles and BCM® accessories, the BCM® Stock is designed and made in the USA.
